By default, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 display your computer’s clock on the right corner of your taskbar, which also shows the current date, month and year in addition to time. Seeing the clock on the taskbar may help you manage your time effectively, but it takes up space that could be used by taskbar shortcuts and system tray items.
