Click the button that says, “Get a Free AOL Screen Name Now.” This will bring you to the registration page. Fill out all the information required. This includes your name, the email address and password, account security questions and answers, ZIP code, birthday and a CAPTCHA code. The CAPTCHA code is the series of letters and numbers you have to type as they are shown in a picture. This will verify that you are a person and not an email bot. Click the “Submit” button at the bottom. Start configuring your new email address by clicking “Access Email Now.” You will be prompted to import contact lists.
