Send a Web Page to a Cell Phone
Go to a Web page that you would like to send to a cell phone. Highlight text on the Web page to include it in your message. Click and drag your mouse over the text to do this task. Click the Send To button on the toolbar and select the SMS option. Enter information in the window provided-the cell phone number you are sending the message to, the cell phone carrier, a subject for the message (optional) and the text of the message. The text will include the address of the Web site and any other message you want to send. Note that if you select text from the Web page to include in the message, the Web site address will not be included by default. You will have to add text manually. Underneath the message box is a display showing how many characters your message contains. Click Send to send your message once you have entered all the information. There is no charge to send a message with this feature; however, a cell phone carrier may charge a fee to receive messages. Many carriers truncate messages longer than 160 characters. Ensure that your message is brief enough to transmit fully. Warnings Writer Bio
