The Dish Network satellite service, like most service businesses, maintains a database of existing and former customers. To reconnect service with Dish Network after having been disconnected from the service, first reattach the satellite receiver to the cables connected to the Dish satellite that was installed previously. The procedure to reconnect service then can be initiated. The process requires a credit card and phone call to the company prior to activating a number of functions on the satellite receiver.
