Using Google as your home page and default search engine can speed up your Web browsing by eliminating the need to find Google in alternative search engines. All Web browsers offer a convenient home page URL box in the Settings menu, so directing new browser windows to Google is as simple as copying and pasting “www.google.com” in the appropriate text field.
