Qualcomm PureVoice files are voice files originally designed for use as attachments in the Eudora email system. PureVoice files, however, have increased both in popularity and in the number of ways the files are used. These files are identified by a “.QCP” file name extension. Schools and organizations use PureVoice files to aid in teaching language, as a smaller file size alternative to “.WAV” files for messaging, and the files are even popular as a ringtone format.
