Google Maps has long been one of the most comprehensive online map applications and is a very popular tool for tasks such as getting directions and finding local attractions. While most users understand the basic functions of Google Maps, some additional features were introduced through “My Maps”, a customization and personalization tool released in 2007. Among the new features introduced with My Maps is the Line Tool, which allows users to draw lines directly on Google Maps and save them to send to other people.
