Dell Precision laptop computers come equipped with touch pads that use Synaptics Pointing Devices that operate through the Synaptics Touchpad software application and driver. If you have a USB or wireless mouse, you may find that the touchpad goes unused and accidentally brushing it disturbs the accuracy of your moues movements. You can disable the touchpad on all Dell Precision systems.
