ICS files contain iCalendar, or iCal, calendar data. iCal is an application developed by Apple for the Mac OS X operating system. VCS files are files created by vCalendar, or vCal, to store and share events and schedules with your friends and coworkers. Both ICS and VCS contain calendar data, but converting from ICS to VCS is not as easy as you think.
