Click “Start,” and then select “Control Panel.” Click the “Portable Media Devices” icon from the list. Double-click your iPod’s icon from the list of available devices. Click the “Tools” menu and then select “Options.” Select the “Show Hidden Files and Folders” option. Open the folder titled “\iPod_Control\Music” to access all of the music files held on the device. Open the folder titled “\iPod_Control\Photos” to access the photos and so forth. You can copy these files to any folder on your computer.
