Font File
Log in to the computer with a username and password that has administrator rights. Double-click the font file to open the font preview window. Click the “Install” button at the top of the preview window. Alternatively, right-click the unopened font file and select “Install.”
Control Panel
Click the “Start” button in Windows 7 and select “Control Panel,” then choose “Appearance and Personalization” and select “Fonts.” In Windows 8, type “Fonts” on the Start screen and select “Fonts” in the list of results. The Fonts window opens. Return to the desktop or other location to which you downloaded the font file you want to install. Click on the font file, drag it to the Fonts window and drop it. Wait until Windows installs the font and then close the Fonts window. Writer Bio
